The
Whitland Engineering Team
All five shareholders are
equal partners and employed directors of the company
and have over 100 years combined experience in
the food, dairy, processing and construction industry.
Eurig Jones
Joined
the Company in February 2002, having worked in
the Dairy Industry for 24 years in senior Project
and Site Management roles for St Ivel and Dairy
Crest. Eurig has an HNC in Mechanical Engineering
having extensive experience in high speed product
packaging and project management. Prior to joining
Whitland Engineering Eurig was the Site Manager
at Johnstown cheese packing plant and was the
Project Manager for the Dairy Crest / St Ivel
cheese business integration. Eurig has extensive
experience of high volume packing lines including
butter packing.
James Owen
Joined
the Company in 1995, having gained a Degree and
Graduate Diploma in Architecture. James whilst
specializing in building / fabric design, has
extensive experience in all aspects of our business,
within the Food, Dairy and Construction Industry
and leads our civil design and delivery teams.
James has delivered major civil projects at many
sites including Dairy Crest Whitland, Chard and
Frome, St Ivel Evercreech and Carmarthen, Meadow
Foods, South Caernarfon Creameries, Rachel Dairies,
Volac International, Dairy Farmers of Britain
Llangadog, Bridgend and Westbury Dairies.
Huw Davies
Has
worked for Whitland Engineering since 1994
having worked within the Dairy Industry at
Dairy Crest in Engineering and Project Management
roles. Huw has a HNC in Electrical and Mechanical
Engineering and specializes in process design,
covering mechanical, refrigeration, electrical
and PLC’S. Huw is supported by Chris
Thomas who holds two degree’s, one in
mechanical engineering the other electrical
and automation. Chris has extensive experience
of milk & cream processing having held
the positions of shift engineer, Assistant
Engineering Manager and Engineering
Manager at Dansco Dairy Products.
Ray Griffiths
Has been involved
with the Company since 1995 having over 20 years
experience in engineering and project management
roles within the Dairy Industry. Ray has an HNC
in mechanical engineering and has extensive installation
and project management experience with detailed
knowledge of plant and machinery maintenance
having “hands on” skills in “live
manufacturing units”. Ray is our expert
in the maintenance and design of butter production
and packing systems.
John Donovan
Joined the company
in May 2005 a Food and Dairy Technologist with some
27 years experience within the Dairy Industry, having
held senior Operational Directorships and General
Management positions with Dairy Crest, McCain Foods
and Rachel’s Organic. John has an extensive
knowledge of all aspects of Factory and Project Management
and detailed knowledge of liquid milk butter, cheese,
yoghurt and milk powder production. CDM management
is headed up by John NEBOSH qualified and experienced
in delivery of projects under the CDM regulations. |
