Established in the 1980s, Whitland Engineering became a limited liability company in December 1990 and in November 2020 became an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) which enabled the company to become owned by its employees.

We uniquely provide multi disciplined project delivery throughout the UK. We are recognised as specialist providers of engineering and project management services to many sectors including Utilities, Water, Food and Dairy Industries.

We are certified to ISO 9001, structural steel fabrications to BSEN1090 and are Safe Contractor approved.

We are highly experienced in working in live manufacturing environments within the food industry where a high degree of food safety diligence and installation flexibility is essential. Key staff include food technologists, educated to advanced food hygiene standard with experience in HACCP management.

We have our own fabrication facility and employs over 50 specialist staff inclusive of coded welders, fabricators, electrical engineers, software engineers and CAD technicians. Our fabrication facility allows us to not only design and build tailor made equipment but also to refurbish and modify existing equipment to meet new applications.
