Environmental Policy Statement

Whitland Engineering Ltd was established in 1985. The main trading activity of the company is project management together with in house mechanical and electrical design, fabrication and installation.

The Directors and Management of Whitland Engineering Ltd understands that the Company’s operations have an impact on the local and global environment. The company is totally committed to the continual improvement of its environmental performance and to the reduction of its impact on the environment through its activities.

In particular, the Company has a responsibility:

• To comply with all relevant environmental legislation and statutory requirements.

• To ensure that the Environmental Policy is actively communicated to all employees and interested parties.

• To adopt a system of integrated pollution control through reuse, recycling and waste minimisation for all company activities.

• To ensure the correct management of all wastes, therefore maximising the efficient usage of natural resources where ever possible.

• To periodically review and update the Environmental Management System to ensure it remains effective.

• To provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision to all staff to prevent any possible pollution to the environment.

The company regards the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution, as a mutual objective between management, employees and other interested parties that are engaged in the company’s activities.
